Disney Princess Party - Making A Princess Castle Cake

I enjoy making cakes but I do not trust my talents. I am my own worst critic and I like to do as much of the detail in advance as possible. I have thought about doing shaped cakes but I would worry about leaving so much detail until the last minute. I prefer to have everything done and then make a simple iced cake for the decorations to go on just before the event. Bob wanted a princess castle cake [click here to read on]

Disney Princess Party - Invitations

As you may have guessed, I love party planning! Bob has had a themed party every year. Even for her first birthday when she was too young to really know what was happening. We had a teddy bears picnic. I bought a gorgeous fabric tea set and a picnic set and my friend knitted lots of party food. When Bob was 2 we had a clown party. Bob was old enough to understand birthdays by now so we had themed [click here to read on]

A Princess Tea Party

Bob loves many of the Disney Princesses. She has a Disney Princess bedroom and she is so excited about her Disney Princess birthday party next month. The other day we decided to have a little princess tea party with some of the tableware that we have been sent from Party Box. They have sent us lots of lovely things for Bob’s party, including lots of yellow crepe paper streamers which I am going to use in the Tangled game. I [click here to read on]

Disney Princess Party Planning

Party planning for Bob’s 4th birthday is in full swing! How exciting! Those of you who follow me on Pinterest may have seen me manically pining Disney Princess party ideas. I have many fun things planned including themed food and games. I have also been gathering party supplies. I don’t like party games that need leading. I am planning one organised game of Pass The Poison Apple to finish the party but other than that I want the games to [click here to read on]

We're Going On A Fairy Hunt

I can’t believe how fast this year is going! My friend said that to me the other day and I was confused for a moment as I thought it was only May! I am so far behind in life and in blogging! I still haven’t shared all of Bob’s birthday party posts with you. The party activity that I had the most fun planning was the fairy hunt. I had planned a fairy hunt around the orchard. I bought some [click here to read on]

Fairy Cake & Cupcakes

I love making Bob’s birthday cakes! Every year I put a lot of thought into it and I really enjoy seeing my ideas come to life. I will still be making her a birthday cake when she is grown up whether she wants me to or not. 🙂 This year I couldn’t wait to make a fairy cake! I had a vision of an amazing creation with many fairies and woodland creatures but, as usual, time was a problem. There [click here to read on]

Woodland Fairy Party Food

I love making party food match the theme of a party! I was very excited about the food I was going to make for Bob’s Woodland Fairy Party. I researched ideas on Pinterest and I couldn’t wait! I was most excited about making cheese and tomato toadstools. These looked amazing and I didn’t think they sounded that difficult to make. I was wrong. You place half a cherry tomato onto a cube of cheese. That’s the easy part. You then [click here to read on]
