My Summer Wardrobe

Summer is here! It seems like we had to wait a long time but then 2 weeks after the snow fell the sun began to shine. My Uggs and winter coats have been packed away and my thoughts are turning to a lovely summer wardrobe. Each summer I find myself dashing to the shops as Bob and Bow have outgrown all of their summer clothes. Somehow, even though I don’t grow out of my clothes, when summer arrives I never [click here to read on]

Chasing A Good Night’s Sleep For You & Your Baby

Seeing your baby sleeping peacefully is one of those rare precious moments many parents find themselves enjoying. Unfortunately, that isn’t possible for everyone to experience. Often babies struggle to sleep through the night which leaves them cranky and parents at their wits end. Luckily, there are quite a few ways a parent can ensure their little one gets that much needed night of peaceful shut eye, while allowing themselves the same luxury. With many things on the market and little tricks of the parenting trade [click here to read on]

Super Shoes

Bow has been having fun reviewing the Shimmy Shoes from Dotty Fish. These shoes have a thicker sole than the previous shoes that we have reviewed but they are still super soft. They are made of durable leather which makes them perfect for developing feet and the sole is non slip. Bow definitely put these shoes through their paces. I was worried that the soft sole may not be able to cope with Bow’s rough and tumble but I soon [click here to read on]

The Potty Diaries -Take 2

I was adamant that I wouldn’t potty train Bow until he was nearly 3. I started potty training Bob when she was 2 and 3 months but it was very stressful and I think that is because I tried to do it too soon. I have many friends who waited until their children were nearly 3 and they all seemed to get it within a week. Recently Bow has been wanting his nappy changing every time he does a little [click here to read on]

Party Time Again

Bob has had an amazing party every year. We always have a theme, so far we have had parties with the following themes; Teddy Bears Picnic, Clowns, Woodland Fairies, Disney Princesses, Under The Sea and Trolls (which I have yet to write about as I am still getting over the craziness). The Trolls Party was quite manic as I think we invited too many people. This year, as she has changed schools, her guest list has grown! I have been panicking [click here to read on]

Science Is Fun!

Bob’s school are holding their first Science Fair on Friday. Every child has to choose a Science project to work on. At first Bob wanted to find out ‘Who created God’. I thought this may be a bit tricky and I explained that Science and Religion are different things. She decided to ask ‘How Stars are made?’ instead. We had lots of fun researching this. I learnt a lot too as I didn’t know how Stars were made either. She [click here to read on]

Our Unicorn Garden

We love fairy gardens. We have had the kits in the past and Bob and I really enjoyed making them. When I was asked if we would like to review the new Unicorn Garden from Interplay I knew that would love to! When the garden arrived Bob was very excited and she couldn’t wait to set it up! It was pouring with rain so we waited until a fine day and we went into the garden to plant the grass [click here to read on]
