Another craft from Bob’s Under The Sea Party was Balloon Flounders. Bob loves the Little Mermaid and we knew we had to include things from the film. There was a yellow balloon and pre-cut cardboard fins and crepe paper streamers for each child to make their balloon. We used sellotape to attach the fins and stripes as glue wasn’t working. We then glued on some wobbly eyes and drew the rest of his features. We set up a craft table [click here to read on]
I can’t believe I am still writing posts about Bob’s Under The Sea Party! We have had a Trolls party since then but I am so behind! My New Year’s Resolution should be to try harder. We had lots of lovely craft activities. I have already written about the Jiggly Jellyfish and the Seashell Wands and I will tell you about the Flounder Balloons soon. We also made Peg Doll Mermaids and CD Turtles. The Peg Doll Mermaids were easy [click here to read on]
I like to have lots of themed party activities at Bob’s birthday parties that the children can access independently. Pinterest is fabulous for finding ideas! At her Under The Sea birthday party there were crafts galore! The first two that I am going to share with you are the Jiggly Jellyfish and the Seashell Wanda that we made! Bob loves preparing for her parties and she always helps me to make examples beforehand. To make the Jiggly Jelly fish we [click here to read on]
I tried to think of more games that we could play at Bob’s Under The Sea party. I had lots of craft ideas but I thought it would be nice to have some games that they could access independently too. I had an idea for a feed the shark game. I drew a shark on a big cardboard box and cut out his mouth and around his fins so they stuck out. Bob helped me to paint him and then [click here to read on]
I love planning the games and crafts for Bob’s parties! I usually start with a ‘pin the something on the something’ idea. 🙂 We have had Pin The Wand On The Fairy and Pin The Horn On The Unicorn in the past. This year I thought of Pin The Tail On The Whale. Not only would this be fun, it also rhymed! 🙂 I drew a big whale (minus his tail) and Bob helped me to paint it. I then [click here to read on]
Although I was very impressed with the Disney Princess themed party food we made for Bob’s 4th birthday, it means that a standard has now been set. I now want to make the party food as good if not better for all of Bob’s party. Pinterest is my best friend when it comes to party ideas and they have some great party food inspiration. I spent hours searching for Under The Sea ideas and planning our menu. Here is what [click here to read on]
I have made Bob’s birthday cake every year. The cake always matches the theme of her party. When Bob was little I had full control over the theme and the cake and I could do things that I found easy. Her clown cake is still one of my favourites. Now Bob tells me which sort of cake she would like. When she asked for a Disney Princess Castle Cake I panicked! I like to do most of the decorations in [click here to read on]
