A Fairy Costume Fit For A Fairy Princess

I had planned on Bob wearing the fairy costume that we reviewed a few months ago for her birthday party. That was until my friend Emily said that she would make her an outfit. I am not sure what I was expecting. I knew it would be fabulous as everything that Emily does is brilliant but I didn’t know that it would be quite so amazing! Emily put a lot of work into it! Her house was taken over by [click here to read on]

Fairy Party - Setting The Scene

We have been very lucky with the weather for Bob’s birthday parties in the past. At her Teddy Bear’s Picnic and her Clown Party everyone needed sun cream. I anticipated good weather for her 3rd birthday and planned a Woodland Fairy Party. I had visions of the children sitting outside, under the trees, on little toadstools. My friend made some lovely spotty cushions to go on top of tree stumps. They were fab! I planned a fairy hunt around the [click here to read on]

Jitter Bugs & Warblers

A few days before Bob’s party we put the party bags together for our guests. I like the contents of the party bags to match the theme when possible. The toys and the bags were from Party Packs. They have a huge selection of party bags and fillers to fit various themes. Trying to stick to the fairy/woodland animal theme our party bags contained: A jitter bug – I love these and remember getting them when I was on holiday. [click here to read on]

Ladybirds & Strawberry Flowers

Over the last few days I have been covered in icing! I’ve been making many icing creations for Bob’s 3rd birthday party. Her birthday cake is going to have a fairy centre piece, a little hedgehog and it is going to be covered in toadstools and flowers. I will show you these when I show you the finished cake. I am going to bake 2 kinds of cupcakes, chocolate ones with chocolate buttercream and plain ones topped with jam and [click here to read on]

The Lost Party Post

I wrote several posts about Bob’s 2nd birthday, using the wonderful photos that my friend Emily took. I thought that I had published all of them but I have just been going through my drafts and I realised that I had missed one. As well as the parachute and the giant beach balls there was lots more fun to be had! I bought a clown ball toss and a quoits games and we also set up Bob’s garden toys. The [click here to read on]
