Money, Money, Money.

I am useless when it comes to dealing with bills! I try to avoid all official looking envelopes and go straight for the pink ones. Unfortunately I now have competition for the pretty mail. As soon as the postman has been Bob asks, ‘Is it for me?’ I used to deal with bills quite capably. When I was single and living away from home all the bills were paid and, although I minded parting with the money, I didn’t mind [click here to read on]

The Crazy Cabbage Patch Lady

I have a new obsession! You may have heard of a crazy cat lady. Many years from now I will be referred to as the crazy Cabbage Patch Lady! When I was younger I really wanted a Cabbage Patch Kid. I remember asking for one for Christmas when I was younger. My mum asked me if I wouldn’t prefer a brussel sprout kid. On Christmas morning I found a brussel sprout kid in my stocking. My mum had stuck hair [click here to read on]

On The Fridge

I never thought that a fridge could cause this much excitement! At our old house our fridge was built into our kitchen and I always missed being able to stick things on it, especially since Bob started nursery. We always used to stick things on the fridge when I was growing up. This also continued into adulthood. My mum is a crossword genius so if my Dad or I ever managed to complete a crossword we would stick it on [click here to read on]

Woodpic Review & Giveaway

I have taken far too many photos. My laptop is overloaded and even my harddrive is struggling. I wish that I could have more of them on display and I am always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to display them. When I heard about Woodpic’s way of putting your photos onto wood I was intrigued. I love wood! Our house os full of wooden furniture, wooden ornaments and random wooden boxes. The thought of having one of [click here to read on]

We're Going On A Fairy Hunt

I can’t believe how fast this year is going! My friend said that to me the other day and I was confused for a moment as I thought it was only May! I am so far behind in life and in blogging! I still haven’t shared all of Bob’s birthday party posts with you. The party activity that I had the most fun planning was the fairy hunt. I had planned a fairy hunt around the orchard. I bought some [click here to read on]

Making the Most of Family Time

Time with the family is precious, especially when your children are young and still actually want to spend time with you! It’s a fantastic time when your little ones are learning about the world and seemingly mundane things are enough to fill them with wonder and delight. Get Creative in the Kitchen In many households, the kitchen is the heart of the home and a great place for parents to foster a love of food and cooking in children. Taking [click here to read on]

Let It Go

As many children are, Bob is obsessed with Frozen! She is constantly singing the songs from the film and she even gets me to duet with her. I have to be very careful to sing the right parts, otherwise I get told off. 😉 When Party Domain asked if we would like to review one of their fancy dress costumes I searched for Frozen themed outfits straight away. Bob has a box of fancy dress costumes but she doesn’t have [click here to read on]
