Share A Smile - My Brave Little Soldier

This week I realised that my little girl is so brave and even more of a super star than I thought! The incident is not one to smile about but seeing how Bob handled it and how amazing she was is definitely a reason to smile! We were sat having dinner on Tuesday evening. Bob had been back at nursery for the first day after the Easter holidays and she was quite tired. In our kitchen we have a table [click here to read on]

Pregnancy Diaries - 7 Weeks

This post was written on the 14th February whilst I was still keeping my pregnancy a secret. My bloating is still horrendous! I had to but a new unfitted wardrobe to go to London. My baggy jumpers helped me to keep my pregnancy quite. I was really struggling with nausea until I read about the Yin and Yang remedies. I had heard that ginger was supposed to be good for morphing sickness and I have been nibbling on this but [click here to read on]

Birthday Gifts For Kids’ Adults Will Want To Steal

Have you ever found yourself completely immersed playing with a kids toy when visiting a friend with children or when your own are out of the house? Have you
ever walked round toy stores looking for a gift for your nephew and stopped at a few aisles on the way to look at things you then considered buying for yourself? You’re not alone. Just because you’re a ‘grown up’ doesn’t mean you don’t want to enjoy the ‘childish’ things every [click here to read on]

The Size Of A Pea

Still catching up with the posts that I wrote whilst I was keeping my pregnancy a secret. 6 weeks pregnant – our baby is the size of a pea. This week’s photograph gave us lots of laughs! I used frozen peas in the hope that this would stop Bob eating them before I had chance to take the photograph but I had no such luck. It turns out that Bob loves to eat frozen peas. Crazy child! Trying to take [click here to read on]

A Crooked Smile

I have been very naughty and I still haven’t registered with a dentist since we moved to Yorkshire. Our check up was due last month and it made me realise that we hadn’t even registered. Luckily pregnancy isn’t affecting my gums like it did when I was pregnant with Bob! The last time I was pregnant my gums used to bleed all the time. Some mornings I would wake up with a mouthful of blood. It was awful. This time [click here to read on]

Pregnancy Diaries - 6 Weeks

This post was written on the 7th February whilst I was still keeping my pregnancy a secret. I don’t know how I am going to keep this pregnancy a secret until after I have had my scan! Already I am suffering from terrible bloating! It gets gradually worse throughout the day and after dinner I am huge! This week we have been out for 2 meals as we have had friends and family visiting. On the first occasion we went [click here to read on]

Memory Foam Mattress Topper Review

I have always been a bit dubious about memory foam. The adverts made me think that the foam moulded to your body that well that you had to sleep in the same position every night. 🙂 When I was contacted by Mattress Next Day asking if we would like to review a memory foam mattress topper I was intrigued to see if we would like it. We saved it until we moved to the new house. When we unrolled the [click here to read on]
