The Potty Diaries - Day 2

Saturday 27th July (Day 2)The next day Bob used the potty in the morning but when it came to leaving the house I chickened out of going cold turkey with nappies. I put Bob a pull up on which I know can be confusing but I knew I would spend the day panicking if I didn’t. We went to buy a cheap potty that we could take out and about with us and I kept asking Bob if she needed [click here to read on]

It is that time of year again when we begin to plan for our summer holidays, whether abroad or in our home countries. Bob's 2nd Birthday Party - Parachute

I love parachutes! My time working in a school and my teacher training showed me just how much fun they can be! I ordered a small one online to use at Bob’s birthday as I thought that the colours would be perfect for the clown theme. I was certain it had arrived and I put it in a ‘safe place’ with the other things for the party. The day before the party I couldn’t find it anywhere! My husband kept [click here to read on]

The Potty Diaries - Day 1

Friday 26th July (Day 1) I took Bob’s nappy of this morning and I didn’t replace it. It was very warm and most of the flooring in our house is laminate so Bob could run around naked and accidents wouldn’t be a problem. I kept asking Bob if she wanted to use her it, she said that she didn’t. She  didn’t wee or poo for quite a while. I was surprised as I have the weakest bladder in the world! [click here to read on]

As Wills and Kate debuted their precious bundle on the steps of the hospital, the whole world collectively fell in love with little George Alexander Louis, Prince of Cambridge. Fun Photo Fun - Another Little Photo Shoot

I had such a lovely time photographing Cyril, Cedrick and their mummy that I couldn’t wait to have another photo shoot! I have read that the best time to photograph new born babies is in the first 2 weeks of their life as they are still in the curled up sleepy stage at that point. Cedrick was 4 weeks and she was wide awake for the whole day. We managed to get some lovely photos but none of the curled [click here to read on]

The Potty Diaries - Prologue

We have been potty training Bob for just over a week now and, after a rocky patch involving a scary potty, she has taken to it really well! We have still got a way to go especially when Bob is having too much fun but she is getting the hang off it. I have been writing a potty diary at the end of each day as it has helped me to process the craziness of our day. I am going [click here to read on]
