Bob loves Nursery Rhymes! She is always asking if she can watch them on the laptop or the iPad. Unfortunately she is banned from using my iPad mini as she broke the full sized one. I occasionally let her watch them on the laptop but it worries me. When I was asked if I would like to review a new DVD of Favourite Nursery Rhymes & Children’s Songs I thought this could be the answer to our problem. Bob loves [click here to read on]

As you probably know I love photography and I am obsessed with props! My spare room has been taken over by various bits and pieces, from magnetic letters to tin baths and I am always on the lookout for new things! Sorry Michael! When I was contacted asking if I would like to review a footstool my initial thought was that I didn’t need one. We already have one in the living room and the dining room and I didn’t [click here to read on]

There is a little tradition that we like to do. Not for any day in particular, just when we feel like it. It is something we have done ever since I first met my husband. We go to Clumber Park quite often to feed the ducks at the ford. One day, shortly after Michael and I first met, we were on our way there and we realised we were hungry. As I may have mentioned many times, we are planning a Woodland Fairy Party for Bob’s 3rd birthday! My dining room is turning into party headquarters and it is already full of exciting bits and pieces. The other day Bob and I thought we should test drive the woodland animal masks. Bob had lots of fun pretending to be the animals and I had a wonderful time trying out my new 35mm lens. We were sent these amazing masks from [click here to read on]

I have always loved music and I would like to think that I am quite musical. I sing (behind closed doors) and I play the guitar. I taught myself to play the guitar when I was at college and over the last few months I have been taking guitar lessons which has really helped me to improve. Bob also loves music! She is always singing, she enjoys playing my old guitar (she is not allowed to touch my new one) [click here to read on]

As it’s Mother’s Day tomorrow I have been writing cards to Grandma (my mum) and Gran (Michael’s mum). This led to me trying to explain to Bob about her immediate family tree. I have mentioned to her before that Grandma is my Mummy and Granddad is my Daddy but I don’t know if she ever grasped the concept. my thoughts were confirmed when I was writing my Mum’s Mother’s Day card. I asked Bob who Mummy Grandma was and she [click here to read on]

I wrote this post after Bob’s 2nd birthday party but I didn’t know if it was too complicated to post. I would love to start sharing how I make my special cakes with you but I am not sure if you will be able to follow my waffle. I’d love to know your thoughts as I have a Lightning Mcqueen cake that I could share with you and I will soon be making a fairy cake! What do you think? [click here to read on]
