Rediscovering My Love Of Blogging

I have been struggling to find my blogging mojo recently. I have been publishing posts occasionally but my heart hasn’t been in it.

Since finishing my pregnancy diaries, my fruit comparison fun and my baby development posts, I have been a bit lost and not known which direction to go. My blog posts have been here, there and everywhere and I wasn’t sure what I wanted to write about. It wasn’t that I was short of material. I have 100’s of photographs of recent events and so many things that I wanted to share but I didn’t know where to start.

I was recently approached by a company that wanted to feature me on their site. They asked for a bio and I had no idea what to write. It made me think about my blog and it’s content. What was it all about?

I realised that I had lost my way and decided it was time to focus. I love my blog and all of the wonderful opportunities it has given me and it deserves more attention than I have been giving it.

I love party planning and there are many posts about the fun parties that we have had on my blog. Since Bob was born we have had a themed party every year.

We had a Teddy Bears Picnic for her first birthday…

and an Under The Sea Party for her fifth.

Each year we make invitations, party food plan activities and find party outfits that all match the theme.

I realised that I still haven’t written about Bob’s magical Under The Sea party that we held in May. I have so many posts that I would love to share with you about all of the things that we made and the fun that we had. I would also love to tell you all about Bow’s upcycled Christening and his first birthday.

I have decided to focus on these posts in the new year and bring you up to date with all of our partying fun! I think this will help my mojo return and I will soon begin to see the fun in blogging again! I used to love taking my camera everywhere and recording all of our fun! I know it will come back and I am looking forward to falling in love with blogging again in 2017!
