I was quite lucky during my pregnancy. (That’s if you ignore the fact that I was treated for preterm labour, hospitalised with keytones and pumped full of saline solution.) I worried about the silly little things during pregnancy but I was lucky to escape most of them. I was petrified of my tummy button popping out! I thought that it would explode all of a sudden! Luckily mine remained an innie. I also managed to avoid the linea nigra, the [click here to read on]

Baby Names That Work Whatever Your Age

Having a child is one of the most magical experiences of your life – but what about when it comes to naming them? Certain names simply don’t age well and when naming your little ones it’s important to consider how their name will sound 10, 20 and 30 years down the line. Name trends Although our generation seems to be enduring some sort of contest when it comes to strange and unusual baby names, you need to consider whether this [click here to read on]

Fried Egg Cupcakes

As you may already know, Bob and I are keen bakers. We can regularly be found in the kitchen baking a masterpiece (making a mess). I am really pleased that Bob shares my love of baking! If she didn’t enjoy it I wouldn’t be able to bake as often. She regularly chooses baking as an activity. Usually I choose the easy option and use my mixer. Bob weighs the ingredients and adds them to the bowl, the mixer does the [click here to read on]

Penguins & Palm Trees

Since our holiday abroad when Bob was a baby we have preferred to go on family holidays in this country as it is much less stressful! Luckily there are many beautiful places in the U.K. Parkdean think that the U.K. has so much to offer in terms of beautiful landscapes, sandy beaches and wildlife that they put together a little quiz to see if people could tell which photographs were home and which were away. One morning, when we had not been together very long, Michael decided to cook breakfast for us. We were staying at his mum’s house and Michael attempted to make some poached eggs. I am not quite sure how this happened, as I [click here to read on]

Cath Kidston Cake!

If you have seen my Ready To Pop post you will know that my oldest friend has just given birth to her first baby. I recently attended her baby shower and it was so lovely! Our friend did a fabulous job of organising it! The shower had a vintage tea party theme and I made her a Cath Kidston style cake. I made some simple icing roses to decorate the cake with. I have made complicated sugar paste roses before [click here to read on]

Bob's Turn To Have New Shoes/Good Mummy

I think that I am developing a slight obsession with Converse! I am still very much in love with my Turquoise pair and Bob has a pink pair which she lives in constantly! I have been offered several pairs of shoes to review recently. Maybe it is because I never stop talking about how a girl can never have too many pairs. 🙂 After I couldn’t resist getting myself a pair last time, I thought that it was Bob’s turn [click here to read on]
