It Takes Rain To Make Rainbows

The last 6 months have been really tough! We have had health problems, relationship problems and times when I didn’t think that things could get any worse. I won’t go into too much detail as my blog is my happy place but I am happy to report that things are looking up! My sister kept saying to me, ‘It takes rain to make rainbows,’ and she was right. Health wise things are much better and my husband and I are [click here to read on]

Fairy Cake & Cupcakes

I love making Bob’s birthday cakes! Every year I put a lot of thought into it and I really enjoy seeing my ideas come to life. I will still be making her a birthday cake when she is grown up whether she wants me to or not. 🙂 This year I couldn’t wait to make a fairy cake! I had a vision of an amazing creation with many fairies and woodland creatures but, as usual, time was a problem. There [click here to read on]

It's A Good Job I Like A Challenge!

When it comes to clothes and getting ready my husband is worse than I am. He always leaves it until the last minute and then he never has anything to wear. This post was written by Sarah McKee. Sarah McKee is mum to two gorgeous girls, Charlotte and Megan, and one beautiful beagle, Coco. They can be found on long beach walks at the weekend in their hometown of Brighton. Autumn is nearly upon us, and as the nights grow shorter and we dig out the warmer duvets and wellies, the window for long evenings playing outside is quietly closed for another year. But with the change in the wind comes [click here to read on]

Hi De Hi

We have just returned from a camping trip to Devon with my lovely friend and her family. We had a wonderful time! The weather wasn’t the best and we were soggy some of the time but we didn’t let it spoil our fun! I didn’t take many photos as I was too busy having fun. Oh dear! It was great going away with friends! The children played wonderfully together, my friend and I enjoyed catching up and drinking Pimms and [click here to read on]
