London Calling

I can’t wait to take Bob to London again. We had a lovely time last time we visited but we didn’t manage to fit in half of the things I wanted to do. I really want to take Bob to the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum. I have been when I was at primary school but I can’t remember. They are supposed to be brilliant for children and they are free! I can’t believe I haven’t visited since [click here to read on]

Fun For Children - Bluestone

One of the things that impressed me about Bluestone was the entertainment. I have been to similar holiday parks and although they offer activities you have to pay for them. The activities aren’t cheap and if you want to book something everyday it ends up being very expensive. Bluestone offered many activities that you could pay for but they also offered free activities too. Every evening between 5.30pm and 6.30pm they hold a kids hour in the marquee in the [click here to read on]

What to Expect During the First Ultrasound - Guest post

One of the most exciting moments in pregnancy is the initial ultrasound. It is your first glimpse at your precious baby; a small window into how they are developing. While the ultrasound can be exhilarating, it can also be a cause for anxiety. If you’ve never experienced an ultrasound before, you may find yourself asking questions such as, “What are they looking for? Are ultrasounds dangerous to my baby?” Rest assured ultrasounds are easy and safe procedures that occur daily [click here to read on]

Tree Fu Tom DVD Review & Giveaway

Bob loves watching Tree Fu Tom so when I was asked to review a copy of the DVD Tree Fu Tom – Tom Saves The Day I knew that Bob would love to! The DVD has 6 episodes on it and it runs for over 2 hours. I was tempted to let Bob watch the whole thing in one go as I knew it would hold her attention and give me some peace but the good parent in me wouldn’t let [click here to read on]

The Size Of A Plum

Still catching up with the posts that I wrote whilst I was keeping my pregnancy a secret. 12 weeks pregnant – our baby is the size of a plum. Bob was much happier about this week’s choice of fruit! She cheered when she saw the plums and was relieved to see it wasn’t lime tasting week again. I daren’t tell her that the baby is the size of a lemon soon. 🙂 To see my first post and read about [click here to read on]

Pregnancy Diaries - 12 Weeks

This post was written on the 21st March whilst I was still keeping my pregnancy a secret. I have been enjoying the last few weeks as I have not been feeling constantly sick and I thought that my morning sickness had ended. Then, this week, the sickness has returned worse than ever. I was 11 weeks 2 days and I started feeling terrible! I felt nauseous all day long and if I ate anything other than dry bread I was [click here to read on]
