The Potty Diaries -Take 2

I was adamant that I wouldn’t potty train Bow until he was nearly 3. I started potty training Bob when she was 2 and 3 months but it was very stressful and I think that is because I tried to do it too soon. I have many friends who waited until their children were nearly 3 and they all seemed to get it within a week. Recently Bow has been wanting his nappy changing every time he does a little [click here to read on]

Party Time Again

Bob has had an amazing party every year. We always have a theme, so far we have had parties with the following themes; Teddy Bears Picnic, Clowns, Woodland Fairies, Disney Princesses, Under The Sea and Trolls (which I have yet to write about as I am still getting over the craziness). The Trolls Party was quite manic as I think we invited too many people. Science Is Fun!

Bob’s school are holding their first Science Fair on Friday. Every child has to choose a Science project to work on. At first Bob wanted to find out ‘Who created God’. Our Unicorn Garden

We love fairy gardens. We have had the kits in the past and Bob and I really enjoyed making them. When I was asked if we would like to review the new Unicorn Garden from Interplay I knew that would love to! When the garden arrived Bob was very excited and she couldn’t wait to set it up! It was pouring with rain so we waited until a fine day and we went into the garden to plant the grass [click here to read on]

Under The Sea Party - Balloon Flounders & Little Squishy Area

Another craft from Bob’s Under The Sea Party was Balloon Flounders. Bob loves the Little Mermaid and we knew we had to include things from the film. There was a yellow balloon and pre-cut cardboard fins and crepe paper streamers for each child to make their balloon. We used sellotape to attach the fins and stripes as glue wasn’t working. We then glued on some wobbly eyes and drew the rest of his features. We set up a craft table [click here to read on]

It can be easily prevented by taking your child to swimming lessons from an early age, which helps to build up water confidence – some lessons even start as early as four weeks after your child is born.
