The other day we went to Hodsock Priory to see the snowdrops. We have never been before but we had heard great reports so I was looking forward to taking some photographs. If I’m honest it was quite a disappointment. Bob loves helping out in the kitchen! She obviously enjoys baking, as she takes after her mum, but she also likes to help out in general. Every time I approach the worktop she shouts, ‘Bake!’ and starts to pull up a chair. I box her in using 2 chairs and the kitchen table and we get to work. Is there a character on CBeebies with the catchphrase, ‘No way!’? I love that Bob is learning new words everyday. I also love how she is managing to add words together to make little sentences. How much easier is it to take photographs when you have helpers? Usually I am trying to keep Bob in position, supervising an activity, trying to get her to smile and taking photographs all at the same time! In the photos that I manage to take, Bob is either looking directly at the camera (at me) or looking down. Last week, when my parents were visiting, it was much easier to take lovely photos! On Friday we went to Yorkshire Wildlife Park for the first time. It is only 30 minutes from our house and when we saw how good it was we wished we had visited sooner. They have a wide variety of animals from goats to giraffes and an indoor play area. I forgot to charge my camera battery (which was very silly) but we will be visiting again soon.
