I am posting this week’s Share A Smile a day early as I am going away for my friends hen weekend. We had a wonderful holiday in Majorca which I promise I will tell you all about soon! I am so far behind at the moment! The journey home however was not as enjoyable. The flight time was horrendous but the price difference to travel at a reasonable time was crazy. Flying through the night was the only way we could afford to do it. Pregnancy Catch Up 23 weeks pregnant – Our baby is the size of a canteloupe As I mentioned last week, I have rejigged the fruit for this week as I couldn’t find a papaya anywhere. A canteloupe should really be used as a size comparison when you are 24 weeks pregnant. I may have mentioned before that our local town is lovely if you want to buy trinkets and eat cake. If there is something that you need though it is not very good. Nowhere in Skipton sells maternity clothes! I went to get measured for a new bra a couple of months ago and although the larger size was more comfortable I knew that a maternity bra would be much comfier! The other day we decided to get our act together and go and buy some things for our new addition. We are so unorganised this time around! When I was pregnant with Bob we were so prepared this time we realised that there was only weeks to go and we had nothing ready. The shopping trip didn’t make me smile. I enjoy making cakes but I do not trust my talents. I am my own worst critic and I like to do as much of the detail in advance as possible. I have thought about doing shaped cakes but I would worry about leaving so much detail until the last minute. Written on the 1st June One of my best friends is getting married on the 12th of September. This is 2 weeks before my due date and I am a bridesmaid. When we were searching for dresses I couldn’t get the image of the other 2 bridesmaids in beautiful dresses and myself in dungarees out of my head!
