Happy New Blog

I have completely lost my way with blogging over the last year. I have been working lots and my blog has taken a back seat. Everything that has happened over Christmas has made me realise how much I miss blogging. Not only does it allow me to record all of our wonderful memories, it also helps me to process the things that I would normally try not to think about. I have just started writing about our disastrous Christmas and [click here to read on]

The Potty Diaries -Take 2

I was adamant that I wouldn’t potty train Bow until he was nearly 3. I started potty training Bob when she was 2 and 3 months but it was very stressful and I think that is because I tried to do it too soon. I have many friends who waited until their children were nearly 3 and they all seemed to get it within a week. To My Baby Girl On Your First Day In Year 2

Today has been a scary day. You have started a brand new school! We thought we would have moved house by now but we are moving in a few weeks. But, how do you go about improving learning already on offer at your nursery? [click here to read on]

Losing Your-self to Mother-hood?

When you enter motherhood, you have to wave goodbye to some of the prized pre-baby experiences. Regular date nights, daily showers and lay-ins past 7 am are just a few. However, it is important to remember that you are still a person and you still deserve you time. It is true that as a mum, you are responsible for your child’s well-being, but that doesn’t mean deserting your own. Give yourself that permission; you don’t need it from anyone else. Happy 6th Birthday Baby Girl!

We have been so busy with birthday celebrations and party planning that I am a little late posting Bob’s 6th birthday video. I am still in shock over the fact that my baby girl is 6 years old! How did that happen? We have had a wonderful few days which ended with a Trolls themed party. More about that later. For now here is a little video of my little girl’s 6th year. I have made a video every year [click here to read on]
