Bow is now 4 months old but I am playing catch up as I’ve only just finished my Pregnancy Diaries.

I had forgotten how small newborn babies were. Now Bow has joined our family I am amazed at how tiny he is.

I am also surprised at how much Bob has grown up since he arrived. I am not sure if it is because we are comparing her to Bow or if she has stepped into her role of big sister but she seems to have grown up overnight.

I am still in a lot of pain after Bow’s birth but newborn cuddles are the best medicine. Gazing at his perfect little features is a wonderful distraction!

As I had gestational diabetes I was told to expect a big baby. I bought a couple of newborn baby grows but most of his clothes were 0-3 months. He was 7lb 9oz when he was born and even his newborn things are a bit big. I will have to do some online shopping. Any excuse!

Although Bow is brand new I already cannot imagine our lives without him. This is how it was meant to be. The 4 of us. I love watching Bob with her baby brother and seeing the huge amount of love that is already there. I can’t wait to watch their relationship grow.

We already love our little man more than the world! I wrote about whether it was possible to love another child as much as Bob and hoping that my heart would be big enough. My heart has grown to the point of bursting since Bow arrived and there is more than enough love for both of my little babies!

Our little family is now complete!

Congratulations! He’s absolutely gorgeous and I can completely relate to that feeling of being a complete family when you’ve got your two little ones with you. Best of luck with these first few incredible months 🙂

Oh what a lovely post. You have such a beautiful family. I love to hear stories of children stepping up and loving their role as older sibling. We are expecting our second baby in July and I really hope that Little Miss H loves being a big sister as much as Bob obviously does. Hugs Lucy xxxx
