6 Months Old

As you learn how to do more our photo shoots get even more tricky. Now as well as eating the blackboard you want to roll around and crinkle up the blanket. I lie you down, ask you to smile, you look at me cheekily and then roll over. 🙂 You are still a little wobbly when it comes to sitting up. You are more stable than you were but I have to make sure you are surrounded by cushions so [click here to read on]

5 Months Old

Our photo shoots are getting trickier now as you are into everything. Before you would sit nicely by the blackboard, now you want to eat it! You have cut your first tooth! You seem much too little but your sister also had a tooth at 5 months. It must run in the family. I am hoping your second tooth will cut soon and then you might get a break from teething. I have bought a reclining highchair for you. You [click here to read on]

4 Months Old

I know that children grow so quickly but I am truly amazed at how fast you are changing! Time seems to be racing and each day you surprise me. You are desperate to sit up but you are still very wobbly. You prefer sitting to lying down now but you lean so far forward to try and steady yourself. I have to be ready to catch you before you face plant the floor. After trying out your friends jumperoo we [click here to read on]

3 Months Old

I may not be a fan of you grabbing my hair but when you reached out and grabbed your first toy it was all worth it! I had forgotten how exciting the little things are with a baby. Each milestone is such a wonderful achievement! Your little laughs are so adorable! It is like a little chuckle. I haven’t managed to capture this on camera yet as I am too mesmerised by how adorable you are but I am working [click here to read on]

How To Get A Breastfed Baby To Take A Bottle.

When Bob was born I was very self conscious and I wouldn’t breastfeed when we were out and about. I expressed from the beginning and gave her breast milk in a bottle when I wasn’t at home. This meant that I never had a problem getting her to take a bottle but it did mean that I ended up having problems with my flow. I think I started expressing too early which meant my flow became too fast. Eventually I [click here to read on]

6 Weeks Old

I wanted to write a ‘1 Month Old’ post but the weeks have flown by and you are 6 weeks old before I know it! You have already changed so much! You smiled your first real smiles last week and now we can all usually be found talking gobble de gook to you to try and get you to smile again. You regularly oblige. Over the last couple of days you have had many a tale to tell. You look [click here to read on]

Brand New

Bow is now 4 months old but I am playing catch up as I’ve only just finished my Pregnancy Diaries. I had forgotten how small newborn babies were. Now Bow has joined our family I am amazed at how tiny he is. I am also surprised at how much Bob has grown up since he arrived. I am not sure if it is because we are comparing her to Bow or if she has stepped into her role of big [click here to read on]
