Frozen Paper Dolls

I wonder how long the frozen hype will last for? I didn’t think anything of it until I told my friend what Bob wanted for Christmas and she said,’Wasn’t Frozen last year?’

From the lack of Frozen products available I would say we will be appreciating Frozen for quite a while yet! Father Christmas has had a very hard time locating a singing Elsa doll for Bob for Christmas. When he was just about to give up he happened to be I. The right place at the right time. We just happened to be walking past the toy section in the supermarket when 2 of the dolls were placed on the shelf. We grabbed one and somebody else grabbed the other.

Bob loves Frozen & she also loves crafting so when we were asked to make some Frozen themed decorations we both couldn’t wait to get creating!

Florida 4 Less sent us a lovely Frozen Art Set to help us with our creation and we got to work.

I came up with several ideas and in the end we decided to make some Frozen paper dolls. Bob and I love paper dolls

We then cut them out and added detail to each one. I decided to alternate Elsa and Anna and the outline worked well for both of them.

We then added colour using the paints, crayons and felt tips from the art set.

I loved the finished result and I was secretly proud of my creation as I am not an artist. You probably didn’t need me to tell you that! 🙂

The paper dolls were then hung on our dresser. I loved the way their hands twisted like a garland.

Bob was very pleased with our decoration and she keeps asking me what Frozen things we are going to make next.
