The Size Of A Pineapple

Pregnancy Catch Up 32 weeks pregnant – Our baby is the size of a pineapple  Bob thinks that she likes pineapple when in fact she doesn’t. She chose pineapple often from the all inclusive buffet in Majorca last week but every time she tasted it she winced. I kept telling her to stick to melon but she was convinced that she liked it. 🙂  A Little Update  It made me chuckle posting this as I am now 39 weeks and [click here to read on]

Pregnancy Diaries - 32 Weeks

Written on the 3rd August We had a wonderful, pregnancy symptom free holiday last week. That was until 3 hours before we were due to leave the hotel. It was then that my ankles decided to balloon to the size of elephants! In a way I am glad that it happened before I was on the aeroplane, otherwise I would have panicked about deep vein thrombosis. It still worried me slightly as my ankles were so swollen they were quite [click here to read on]

The Size Of A Green Cabbage

Pregnancy Catch Up 31 weeks pregnant – Our baby is the size of a green cabbage Bob wasn’t too keen on eating the cabbage (who can blame her) but she was happy to wear a leaf on her head.  Who would have thought I would have my own, real life cabbage patch kid! 🙂  At 31 weeks all of our baby’s 5 senses are working. His brain is developing as is my baby brain. 🙂  To see my first post [click here to read on]

Pregnancy Diaries - 31 Weeks

Written on the 27th July We are having a wonderful holiday in Majorca! I had a last minute panic as we were waiting to board the plane. We have insurance in case the baby comes early but I suddenly started to worry. If he did arrive in Majorca he wouldn’t have a passport. How would we bring him home? My husband told me not to worry. He was sure we would be able to sort something if that did happen [click here to read on]

The Size Of A Red Cabbage

Pregnancy Catch Up 30 weeks pregnant – Our baby is the size of a red cabbage The size of our baby this week differs depending on which site you refer to. Some sites list red cabbage as the size of the baby at 30 weeks and some list it for the size at 26 weeks. I had 2 things that I could use for 26 weeks, lettuce or red cabbage. I chose lettuce and saved red cabbage to use later [click here to read on]

Pregnancy Diaries - 30 Weeks

Written on the 20th July We didn’t think we would get to go away this year. Times have been hard and my husband has been working ridiculous hours! There are times when I felt like a 7 month pregnant single parent. Bob’s behaviour has been challenging and I wondered if she showing signs of behaviour that is common when parents separate. Michael was leaving before she got up in a morning and not getting home until after she had gone [click here to read on]

The Size Of A Cucumber

Pregnancy Catch Up 29 weeks pregnant – Our baby is the size of a cucumber I know that the fruit and vegetable comparisons are just a guideline and they can based on weight or length. I know that they don’t always make sense but that didn’t stop me being baffled by this week’s comparison. How can my baby be the size of a cucumber? How would it fit? I was even more shocked to learn that this comparison isn’t even [click here to read on]
