Twin Bump Mystery Solved!!!

I have finally found an answer to my twin bump! For months I have thought that this was just the way my body was after having Bob. When it got to the stage that people were referring to me as ‘the pregnant one’ I thought that maybe my bump was a bit out of the ordinary. I also started getting stomach pains, tummy ‘troubles’ and feeling generally unwell so I decided to mention it to the nurse when I went [click here to read on]

Bobisms

Bob is learning new words everyday. She’s always chatting away. I wonder who she takes after? She has her own little way of saying certain things that I find adorable! When asked what she would like she says, ‘Erm, chooooose,’ before making her decision and if she would like to do something again she says, ‘Go again.’ If you ask her where something is and she doesn’t know she replies, ‘No no me!’ and until recently she would shout, ‘Mmmmmeeeeee,’ [click here to read on]

Bob is very inquisitive at the moment. I think we might be approaching the ‘Why?’ stage. The other day we were in the bath when I got into a bit of a predicament. Bob pointed to my breasts and proudly said, ‘Boobies!’ I confirmed that yes, they were Mummy’s boobies. She then pointed to my tummy button and said, ‘That?’ I told her that it was my tummy button. She then pointed a little lower than my tummy button and [click here to read on]

Stay At Home Mum & Loving It

Before Bob came along I never saw myself as a stay at home mum. In fact, when I found out that I was pregnant I was doing my PGCE to teach in Primary Schools. I had intended to return to the course after having some time at home but the stay at home world quickly drew me in! I loved getting to spend time with my daughter and, having a background in childcare and education, I knew that I could [click here to read on]

No Way! No Way!

Is there a character on CBeebies with the catchphrase, ‘No way!’? I love that Bob is learning new words everyday. I also love how she is managing to add words together to make little sentences. However, I don’t love these two little words! Bob has started to say, ‘No way!’ As an answer to everything! Me – ‘Would you like some breakfast. Bob – ‘No way!’ Me – ‘Shall we change your nappy?’ Bob – ‘No way!’ Me – ‘Come [click here to read on]

Don't Get Your Hopes Up!

I am sorry to tell you that the night before last was a one off! If you have read my previous post you will know that Bob slept for 9 hours on Wednesday night for the first time ever! There wasn’t even a gradual build up. She went from struggling to manage 3 hours sleep to sleeping through. I knew that it was too early to get my hopes up but there was a small part of me that couldn’t [click here to read on]

Oh my goodness me!!! Bob finally fell asleep at 11 pm and guess what? She’s still asleep! It’s 7.30!!! I think I might be dreaming!!! For the last few months I have had to force Bob to nap before her lunch. If she had lunch first she would get a second wind and I would struggle to get her to nap before 3, resulting in her not going to bed until midnight. If she napped for 30 minutes before lunch [click here to read on]
