I’m really sorry there will not be a Fun Photo Fun post today as we have not been having much fun this week. Bob became ill on Thursday. she was generally unwell for most of the day. On Thursday evening Bob had a rash that looked viral. She’s a very rashy girl but as her temperature was 39..4 even after Calpol we called the out of hours doctor at 9.pm. They were unable to give us an appointment until 3am [click here to read on]

For as long as I can remember, I have always shopped at Boots. The store in my home town was one of my favourite places to visit on a Saturday afternoon with my school friends. We would spend hours in there deciding what to spend our pocket money on. When I got my first part time job going to Boots became even more exciting! I would spend ages in there choosing a new perfume, selecting pamper goodies for a girly [click here to read on]

My Me & Mine photos for this month aren’t the best but I am hoping that their variety will make up for that. The photos were taken (or drawn) by somebody else so I couldn’t do my normal ‘take lots and choose the best one’ method of photography. That was until my friend Nadine asked me to join her in her mission. Nadine is the bravest person I know! We used to work together a few years ago when we were both studying for our childcare qualifications. Back then our worries [click here to read on]

If I need a dress for a special occasion I will go, kicking and screaming, to Meadowhall but other than that I will happily shop online so that I can try on at my leisure and I do not have to endure traipsing around every shop only to find that nothing fits me. Bob also likes to shop online. My husband doesn’t like me encouraging this habit. I think he fears [click here to read on]

When I have been making my blog buttons I have been over complicating things. To take Bob’s head from a photograph I would use photoshop elements, create a background copy, delete the original background, zoom in so that I could see each pixel and slowly draw around her head with the eraser to remove the background from the photograph. It used to take hours! I had tried the magnetic lasso but I could never get it to work. I knew [click here to read on]
