I have wanted a tortoise for years! One Christmas (before Bob was born) my husband bought me a book about keeping tortoises. Monday 5th August (Day 11) Today we went to Wheelgate with our friends. It’s about 30 minutes from our house and we had so much fun that we bought a season ticket and we can’t wait to go again. We were there for about 6 hours and I took Bob to use her potty many times but she did nothing. She had lots to eat and drink but apart from a tiny accident she held herself until she got home. Wednesday 31st July (Day 6) This morning when we got up Bob’s pull up was dry. I have no idea how she managed this! I had been to the toilet 3 times since going to bed. I have got into a bad habit. Monday 29th July (Day 4) Today we demoted the duck potty to the dolls and only used the larger potty. Bob seemed much more settled on this one and would sit comfortably on it for quite a while. When Bob woke up I sat her on her potty and we read some stories together. I hoped that she would wee on her potty and realise that it wasn’t that bad after all. 3 books later and Bob was bored. Sunday 28th July (Day 3) When Bob awoke in the morning she said, ‘Poo’s coming.’ I said we’d take her nappy off so that she could go on the potty but she got very upset and said, ‘No way!’ I decided to let her poo in her nappy as I didn’t want to scare her into constipation.
