3 Vanilla Christmas Cookie Ideas

Yes, it’s that time of year already. Whilst the first leaves of autumn will have barely landed on the damp grassland, our thoughts will have already turned to those winter months and one specific date in December in particular. Soon, town centres will be bustling with Christmas shoppers, fridges and freezers will be stocked and the shops will be blaring Christmas hits. Yes Christmas really does have a tendency to creep up on us and this year, we can expect [click here to read on]

The Potty Diaries - Days 26 - 38

Tuesday 20th – Saturday 24th August (Day 26 – 30) We have just been to Haven for a mini break. We have had a lovely time! I know that this isn’t a great photo but I love how Bob ran to Greedy The Gorilla to give him a hug! I was quite worried about Bob and potty training whilst we were away as she is still very reluctant to use the potty or the toilet anywhere other than at home. [click here to read on]

The Potty Diaries - Day 25

Monday 19th August (Day 25) Today we had a terrible day. I am hoping that Bob was just under the weather and this is not the start of the terrible twos! Bob was having tantrum after tantrum. I have never seen her like it before. Some of them could have been associated with potty training but many of them were unexplained. The Potty Diaries - Days 22,23 & 24

Friday 16th August (Day 22) Today was going really well until 5pm. Bob was tired out as she no longer has a nap (she refuses to nap in the afternoon but would happily nap 2 hours before bedtime) and we had friends coming over at 6pm for a barbecue. She was falling asleep where she stood so I decided to let her have a little nap. I knew that I would pay for it later but I also knew that [click here to read on]

The Potty Diaries - Days 17 - 21

Sunday 11th August (Day 17) We stayed close to home today and just went to our local park. We had a good day with no accidents but no poos. Monday 12th August (Day 18) Today we went to Wheelgate again. We have a season pass! I decided to continue using pull ups over Bob’s pants as I thought it would be much less stressful for everyone and not using them didn’t seem to have made a difference. Bob refused to [click here to read on]

The Potty Diaries - Days 14,15 & 16

Thursday 8th August (Day 14) Today we went to a country park for the morning. When we arrived I got Bob to sit on her potty in the car. Nothing. After we’d been there for a while I took her to the toilet. Nothing. Then, when she was halfway across across the rope bridge she weed. Everywhere! I am not sure how to solve the problem of Bob not wanting to use her potty in public. She tries to hold [click here to read on]
