Bob and I shared a relaxing pink Valentine’s bath. Don’t panic, I took the photos before I got in! The bath was made less relaxing by Bob announcing that she’s weed! Happy Valentine’s Day!

I was very lucky not to experience morning sickness when I was pregnant. I have had some friends that have really struggled with it, so much so that they were scared to leave the house. Unfortunately I did get horrendous acid reflux. This was so bad that it caused sickness in the last 3 months of my pregnancy and I ended up being hospitalised and pumped full of saline solution as I had keytones. I also suffered from terrible heartburn. [click here to read on]

I used to hate snow. It caused scary driving conditions on my way to work and has caused us to cancel plans in the past. Since Bob came along snow is a lot more magical! There are winters walks to take, snowmen to build and snow balls to throw at Daddy. 🙂 The weather forecast threatened snow in November and in January but, so far this winter, we haven’t seen a flake. When we reach the side of the road she now stops and says, ‘Look left, look [click here to read on]

Bob has always loved our dogs. She talks about them often and she loves having cuddles with them. Occasionally she would get fed up with our miniature dachshunds. Bob was desperate to play with them but Lucy & Poppy would rather sit on the settee. Now we have Sally, Bob finally has someone who wants to play with her! Where Bob goes Sally follows and I know they are going to grow up to be best friends! We have to [click here to read on]

This post is part of Indespension’s Get Out There campaign, encouraging people to make the most of the great British outdoors – whatever the weather! Winter can keep us clinging to the warmth of the indoors at the expense of our usual, more active hobbies, and unfortunately this is one of the major reasons most of us gain more than a few extra pounds at this time of year! However, there is some good news: just because it’s starting to [click here to read on]
