On Monday Bob and I had a lovely bank holiday in the garden. The weather was gorgeous, Bob even needed sun cream!
It made me very excited for summer and even more excited for lovely days at the beach! Bob loves the beach. We have spent a couple of days at the beach already this year but the weather wasn’t very nice. Bob and Sally still had lots of fun!
Last summer we spent many wonderful days at the beach. I love visiting the beach! There is something so relaxing about a never ending horizon!
One of my favourite beaches is at Reighton Sands holiday park. The is a little train that takes you down a hill to the beach and the beach is lovely! When the tide goes out it leaves large pools of water that are perfect for Bob to play in.
I managed to capture a photograph that I love when we were at this beach last year. Bob and her Daddy had gone for a little walk to the sea and I was relaxing. As they got further away they looked like they could be the only two people on the world.
This photo captures 3 things that I love, Bob, her Daddy and a never ending horizon. If only we were there right now!
It was a wonderful day!
I also took this photo which is a close second favourite as Bob’s sandy bum makes me smile every time!
Hopefully it will not be long before we can enjoy sunny days at the beach again.

I love the seaside – the only problem is I don’t really like sand!!
That could pose a problem. 🙂 x
It makes me a very interesting sight as I stand on one leg washing all the sand from my foot, before trying to quickly shove it into a sock and shoe so that there is no sand in my sock or shoe as that would freak me out!!
