A few weeks ago we lost an important member of our family. Our dishwasher!

It was a close friend of mine and it helped me a lot around the house. We have had it for many years and we used it constantly. When I realised that it was leaking I was heartbroken. I knew that it was going to be missed!

I believe in fate. My husband and I met in a town that I had never visited before on the first night of my life that I was there. I received some bad news that evening and nearly went home several times. Michael had been working away and he was exhausted. He also nearly went home but his friends persuaded him to stay out. It’s a good job we both listened to our friends otherwise we would never have met and we wouldn’t have the lovely life we have today.

Fate was also smiling down on me when my dishwasher said goodbye. A few days later I received an e mail asking if I would like to review one from Argos! I was over the moon!

When it came to choosing a dishwasher I knew which one I would like. I wanted the same one again! It had been brilliant for many years and I was missing it dreadfully!

Luckily there were Beko dishwashers available at Argos and I was excited to find the same model.

I couldn’t wait for it to arrive! Having to do the dishes by hand made me even more impatient. My husband can somehow use every pot in the kitchen whilst making a sandwich.

It arrived and I was so excited! Is it a sign that I am getting old that I can get so excited over a dishwasher? This was a newer version and it had some differences.

In my old friend the cutlery box was in a fixed place and sometimes this was a pain. In the newer model it can be put anywhere which allows you to fill the dishwasher better. Also, one of the plate racks has slightly larger gaps between plates which is really handy! In the old one I used to put the plates in every other slot to make sure they were washed properly. In this one there are less slots and plenty of space around each plate which ironically means I can got more in.

I love my new friend! It has filled a place in my heart!

Disclaimer: I was sent the dishwasher free of charge for the purpose of this review but all opinions and photographs are my own.

Wow – I would probably cry if my dishwasher broke! It’s the only thing that stops my kitchen from turning into complete chaos like the rest of my house! lol xx
