This week I am simple sharing a photo that really makes me smile! I took this on Thursday. We had gone out for dinner and whilst we were waiting for our desserts Bob spilt her tropical slush (pale orange in colour) all over the floor. This week Bertie Bear came to visit. Bertie lives at Bob’s nursery and he gets to come home with a different child each week. We are going away next week and Bob won’t be going to nursery so Bertie didn’t get to stay for very long. He had a lovely time though! This week I realised that my little girl is so brave and even more of a super star than I thought! The incident is not one to smile about but seeing how Bob handled it and how amazing she was is definitely a reason to smile! We were sat having dinner on Tuesday evening. This week, even though It is the Easter holidays, I have been allowed a couple of child free days. When Bob is at nursery I always feel as if I should be working or cleaning. Bob loves dressing up! Whenever we are in the house she finds something fun and fabulous to wear. Some days she commits a fashion faux pas. I have seen spider trousers with a tutu over the top and a doctors coat to finish it off. The other day however, the outfit she put together was quite stylish. It shouldn’t have worked. She wore Cinderella shoes, a Minnie Mouse dress, Elsa’s shrug, Minnie Mouse glasses, Rapunzel’s headband and her own jeggings. [click here to read on]
This week Bob’s nursery held a Mother’s Day concert. It was wonderful! The children sang lots of songs and a few children were shown to show a picture they had painted of their plummy whilst the head teacher read out something they loved about them. Bob painted a lovely picture of me. The likeness is uncanny! Each child then gave their mummy a present. It was a canvas which they had painted some flowers on. I loved mine!
