Bob has been wanting to watch the Captain Underpants movie since she watched the trailer on You Tube ages ago. The trailer made her howl with laughter when Captain Underpants sang, ‘Tra la laaaaa!’ The film is about two friends, George & Harold, who spend their time making comic books. One day they hypnotise their nasty principal into thinking he is the dimwitted superhero from their comic books, named Captain Underpants. This film is hilarious and Bob loved it! Christmas is coming! Decorations are popping up everywhere, gifts are being bought, cards are being written and schools are busy practising for nativities and carol services. We can’t wait for the Christmas holidays! It will be lovely to have some quality time together as a family. It is lovely now that Bob is old enough to watch things that we enjoy too. At the weekend, she loves staying up later than Bow and watching a film with us. Both of my children love Milkshake! With a 4 year age gap, there is not much that they both enjoy. Milkshake has such a great variety of programmes that they are both happy to sit in front of their Milkshake DVD. Bow loves Peppa Pig and Noddy, Bob loves Shimmer & Shine & Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom and they both enjoy Fireman Sam! I have a mixer that cost me a small fortune. It is a very well known brand and I thought that I would love it and it would last me a lifetime. I have been disappointed with it. The beater doesn’t seem to reach the bottom of the bowl so in order to mix thoroughly I have to put pressure on top of the mixer. I have also damaged the beaters. Bow loves the ‘That’s Not my…’ books. He has a couple of them at home and he always picks up one to borrow when we go to the library.
