A Curious Mind - Part 2

This morning I was getting Bob ready for nursery and she asked if she could wear her new big girls vests. These are just like her little girl vests but the straps are thinner and they don’t have a cartoon character on the front. I was fed up of Minnie Mouse peeping at me through Bob’s pale coloured t shirts! Bob wasn’t too keen on the idea at first and always opted to wear her old vests. That was until [click here to read on]

A Curious Mind - Part 1

Bob has been getting more and more inquisitive over the past few weeks. Some of her questions/wonderments are hilarious so I thought that I would share a few of my favourites with you. After a manic weekend of moving house we decided to have dinner at our local pub. Michael’s brother and sister in law had helped us move so we thought it would be nice to escape the boxes and go out for dinner and a few drinks. Whilst [click here to read on]

Child Proof

Now Bob is older we have relaxed on child proofing. Our last house was child-proofed to the brim, but in our new house we haven’t even put up a safety gate.  Bob is old enough now to not open drawers that you tell her to and she is steady on her feet. I still want to put a catch on the cupboard where we keep the cleaning products just in case, but in comparison to the extremes we went to [click here to read on]

Under My Umbrella

For my birthday my friend bought me a gorgeous Cath Kidston umbrella. I loved it and have been looking forward to it raining so that I could use it. When Bob spotted it I knew it wouldn’t be long before she stole it! If she hadn’t of looked so cute I would have been sad at the loss of this gorgeous umbrella! Hopefully Bob will share it with me!

Are We Human Or Are We Parents?

Regardless of what people tell you, nothing can prepare you for how much life will change when you become a parent! There are the obvious things like the sleepless nights and the overwhelming responsibility but I also changed dramatically as a person. I went from being a fun loving, happy go lucky girl to a worrying wreck! I panicked about everything and I daren’t leave Bob’s side. When she had colic and would scream constantly for 4 hours I felt [click here to read on]

Bob is forever surprising me with how adorable she can be! At the moment, like many others, she is obsessed with Frozen! ( I was going to write other children but I am a little obsessed too.) She has woken me up on many occasions by asking, ‘Do you wanna build a snowman?’ This morning I was in Bob’s bedroom when she told me to stay where I was and closed the door. I was a bit worried about what [click here to read on]
