I know that Bob has just had a birthday but she literally seems to have grown up overnight. Her Grandparents looked after her whilst we escaped for the evening and they couldn’t believe how much she had changed. She still has her moments, of course, but she really has grown into a wonderful little girl!

I have always enjoyed spending time with her but now I love it even more. Now, as well as being my daughter, she is also my friend.

We were shopping yesterday and Bob took me into the arcade to visit the fairy door. (A little door which I think houses electrics.) She likes to knock on the to see if anyone answers. When we realised nobody was home I started to walk out of the arcade. Bob grabbed my hand, and said, ‘I need to go somewhere this way.’

I knew exactly where she was talking about. Our favourite cafe is in the arcade. When Bob realised that I was going to go along with her idea she was very excited and started talking about lunch. I explained that it was a bit early for lunch (it was 10am) but that we could maybe have a little something sweet.

It’s no wonder Bob loves this place! She ordered a hot chocolate and the owner gave her extra marshmallows!

She also had a cookie and some of my scone. Isn’t it terrible that my daughter forces me to go to places like this! 🙂

We had a wonderful time, chatting and laughing and waiting for the cuckoo clocks to chime. They have several clocks with different animals in them.

Bob did fall off her chair at one point (I told you she still has her moments) but she was alright. It was just because she wasn’t sitting properly.

I can’t wait for our next shopping trip!
