I remember when we used to play the lottery every week. My husband and I each chose some numbers and we used the same ones for every draw. As time went on it became a pain to go to the shop to play. Some weeks we would forget and then we would have to make sure that we didn’t see the winning numbers! That’s the scary thing about using the same numbers each week. Eventually we stopped playing as it seemed more hassle than fun.

I have recently heard of Lottoland. They give you the chance to play various lotteries online and they match the prize that you would win if you were to play in the traditional way. Lottoland makes playing the lottery much more appealing. There is no last minute dash to the shop and you can play without leaving your armchair.

We have only played the National Lottery before and it was exciting to have access to many different games. You can bet on many lotteries around the world, including the American lottery which had a £1 billion jackpot ealier this year! First I bought 2 tickets for the Euromillions on Friday night. Many of my friends play this so I was happy to join them. 🙂 Unfortunately we didn’t win but we had fun trying.

You can also play instant win games and buy virtual scratchcards. I loved playing the ‘Raid The Piggy Bank’ scratchcards!

I may not have won the big money but I kept winning 50p which is exciting enough for me. 🙂

I spent quite a while on the Lottoland website on Friday evening and after I’d been on for an hour the website informed me. I thought this was really good as it is easy to get carried away. You can set it to remind you after various amounts of time to keep you on your best behaviour.

I have really enjoyed playing the lottery in this way and I much prefer it to having to race to the shop before the draw takes place.

This is a collaborative post.

I live in hope that one day I will win the lottery … trouble is I always forget to put a ticket on! haha. Sounds like a great site!

I would love to win the lottery one day. I already know what I would do with the prize money.
