Bob loves watching videos on You Tube. She tends to favour the ones that make things out of play doh or open surprise eggs. Every now and again she stumbles on something that she really enjoys.

A couple of years ago she was engrossed in something that was in a foreign language. I went to see what she was watching and it was an adorable cartoon about a little girl and her friend, who happen to be a huge bear. We had no idea what they were talking about but Bob loved it! She watched several episodes and it was the longest she had ever concentrated on anything. After asking Google I realised that she was watching a Russian cartoon called Masha and the Bear. Bob asked to watch this many times and, despite the language barrier, she really enjoyed it!

Imagine her delight when I stumbled upon Masha and the Bear on a sky channel, in English, a couple of years later! She loved it even more now she knew what they were saying.

The series is about a retired circus bear who goes to live in the woods for a peaceful life. He then meets Masha, an energetic 3 year old who lives in an old train station in the forest. Bear becomes a father figure to Masha and spends his time trying to keep this adventurous little girl safe.

When I was asked if we would like to review a copy of the new DVD Masha And The Bear – How They Met I knew that Bob would be thrilled!

Masha and the Bear DVD

The DVD features the following episodes:

How They Met, Don’t Wake, Jam Day, Call Me Please, Little Cousin, Get
Well Soon, Recipe For Disaster, Laundry Day and The Grand Piano Lesson.

Since the DVD arrived Bob has watched it more times than I can count. Our friends came to stay at the weekend and Bob introduced her friend to Masha and the Bear. Her friend is a couple of years older than Bob but she still loved it. I have to admit that I quite like it too. Masha is so cute and I would love it if Bear could be around to stop Bob getting into trouble. πŸ™‚

This is a wonderful DVD which will be loved by children (and adults) of all ages and I have a copy to giveaway to one of my lovely readers. There are many ways to enter using the Rafflecopter below. Good luck!
