We have a first aid kit under the sink but it is not very practical. It is a shabby chic style tin containing a selection of tablets that we no longer need. I often buy plasters to put in it but as soon as Bob sees them she ‘needs’ to borrow them to make her dolls better. Needless to say the plasters are not in the tin for very long.

When I was asked if we would like to review a children’s first aid kit I thought it would be handy to have one available. We were sent a kids first aid kit by Steroplast.

It was in a small bag which could be taken out and about and it had everything needed to prepare us for unexpected accidents.

The first aid kit contained:

Bandage
Eyewash/Woundwash
Gloves
Low adherent dressing
Microporous tape
Plasters
Triangular bandage
Wipes

It was much more practical than our tin containing Ibuprofen (which I can’t use because of my asthma), an old tube of bite cream and a few Rennies.

I now feel much more prepared incase an accident happens and I like the fact that the kit is small enough to take out with us. Hopefully we will not need to use the kit but it gives me piece of mind. I am going to make sure it is kept stocked and I am going to keep the plasters out of Bob’s sight!

Disclaimer: We were sent the first aid kit free of charge for the purpose of this review.

I think every home should have a first aid kit and this one looks great! x

What a good idea, looks like a really nice little kit. It’s amazing the things you don’t realise you have until you need them.

It’s another one of those things you need but only remember you need one when it’s too late! This looks super cute x
