Before my husband met me he had never dressed up! I couldn’t quite believe it!

I am very fond of fancy dress parties and I love making my own costumes! I think that my favourite ones to date is when I stuck 5 kg of marshmallows onto a boiler suit to be the Marshmallow Man one Halloween.

I soon set about correcting my husbands lack of fancy dress. This was tricky at first as he didn’t want to wear anything too silly. I got around this be allowing him to wear ‘ordinary clothes’ and painting him various colours. It’s amazing what you can do with face paint!

Pumpkin Smurf

Until now I have only used face paint for basic creations but now that Bob is getting older I can’t wait to learn how to turn her into a dalmatian or bunny!

Dalmatian

I have found some great beginners guides and can’t wait to try them!

I have always used Snazaroo as I find the colours to be strong and they are easy to apply. Pale and watery face paint is not a good look! They are also quick drying which is handy when I am painting my husband green 10 minutes before our taxi arrives. Snazaroo would be great to use on Bob too as it is fragrance free and suitable for sensitive skin.

They are also easy to remove! My husband will kill me for sharing this photo with you but a quick shower was all it took to de-Smurf. Soap and water or wipes will quickly remove all traces of your alter egos.

Snazaroo has a fantastic colour range so the opportunities are endless! How exciting!
