I still can’t get my head around the fact that Bob starts school tomorrow! She is more than ready and has been for a while. The same can’t be said for me though. Where did my baby girl go?

I have been enjoying seeing photos of children on their first day of school across social media for the past week. I worried at one point that I had got Bob’s start date wrong and had to check. It is definitely tomorrow though.

I have an interesting infographic for you from Brantano which compares the school experience of children from around the world. It looks at many aspects including school uniform and hours spent in the classroom.

If your little one has started school this time I hope they have settled well and are having fun! If they start tomorrow, I will be with you, crying at the gates! If only we lived in Finland or Poland. Then we would get to hold onto our babies for 2 more years!

Good luck to Bob tomorrow….I hope she settles in well at school!
Very interesting to read….We really do start our kids at school early compared to other countries.

This is really interesting, but sad to see we have one of the lowest numbers of male teachers. x

I can’t believe some of the statistics, it really surprised me x

This is really interesting – especially the fact that children in other countries start school when they are a little older

That’s a great post! Is good to see other countries and the performers. I am fom Poland and I can see that polish kids are spending less hours than many. Also, the salary I think its a bit over high I think they get less 🙁
