I was very excited to be chosen as a Morrison’s Mum for the bank holiday weekend. I like Morrison’s and a new store has recently opened near where we live.

Morrisons sent me £80 in vouchers to spend over the bank holiday to celebrate their new lower prices. They have cut prices on over a thousand products.

We were away for some of the weekend but on Monday we went to Morrison’s to spend our vouchers.

The 2 things that I love most about Morrisons are the salad bar and the pick and mix counter. Both of these were visited. 🙂

My husband’s favourite things about Morrisons are their cream cakes. Even though he didn’t come shopping with us I thought about him and he was very pleased!

Cream-Cakes

We bought a trolley full of goodies! We bought many grocery essentials and other vital things such as wipes, toothpaste, deodorant, hello kitty plasters & wine. I also bought a few family meals, including salmon which was seasoned with teriyaki whilst I waited, and supplies for two gatherings.

On Monday afternoon we had a picnic with our friend and on Tuesday we had a little tea party.

At the tea party there were 4 adults and 3 children and we all really enjoyed it!

We had lots of lovely things to eat and it only cost £2.35 per person.

Yum

There was also plenty left over, much to Sally’s delight.

Leftovers

I thought that my shopping would be way over £80. My trolley was overflowing and I expected to have to put at least £20 towards it. I was delighted when the total came to £89!

Thank you Morrisons! We have had a lovely bank holiday filled with food & fun!

Disclaimer: I was sent the vouchers free of charge for the purpose of this post but all opinions and photographs are my own.

The tea party looks so much fun and your photos are wonderful. Commenting for myself and on behalf of BritMums and thanking you for taking part

I didn’t buy cream cakes, how bad is that. Clearly I was far too sensible when I shopped!

Looks like a lovely tea party!
