39 weeks pregnant – Our baby is the size of a watermelon

“I carried a watermelon!’

The thought of our baby being the size of a watermelon brings tears to my eyes!

Bob loves watermelon! It is one of her favourite fruits but she has to get me to remove every trace of the seeds before she can enjoy it.

Watermelon

At 39 weeks baby is still growing and his brain is rapidly developing. My induction is scheduled for Thursday so it won’t be long until we meet our ‘little’ bundle!

Oh my gosh, that is a big size to be carrying around in a belly. I’m so terrified of the whole pregnancy malarky. Mothers deserve medals for carrying a baby for 9 months! x

Isn’t it strange to think that you can carry something that size inside of your body and push it out yourself. The female body is amazing!
