Don’t panic, I am not pregnant again! 🙂 I am just catching up and giving myself a chance to get over the trauma of childbirth before writing about it.

Written on the 17 August

This weekend was my friends hen do, she is getting married next month and I am a bridesmaid. I am hoping the dress still fits!

I was looking forward to some time away with the girls but I was worried that I would struggle to keep up with being so pregnant and not drinking alcohol.

Luckily we had planned a lovely, laid back hen do. My friend didn’t want a typical hen do and I am glad as I think if the weekend had involved clubbing I could not have coped. We went to a lovely country pub with a B&B and a campsite. Many of us stayed in the B&B and my friend’s cousin brought an amazing tent which was like a hotel for those who were going to camp.

We had a lovely weekend involving lots of yummy food (including an amazing afternoon tea in Bakewell), lots of wine for everyone else, bingo, pottery painting, traditional sports day games and a quiz.

I was quite impressed with my stamina and I managed to keep up until Saturday night at about 11pm when I knew I needed to go to bed. Think many other people went to bed at midnight so I think I did quite well!

We are now looking forward to the wedding. How exciting!

Your bump looks so small for 34 weeks, my sister-in-law is almost double your size at 30 weeks eek x

Congrats. You look so good for a 34 weeks pregnant woman.
