When we decided to move to our current home 6 years ago the bathroom was bare! There wasn’t even a toilet in it. This turned out to be a really good thing as we could make the bathroom exactly as we wanted it before we moved in.

A bathroom is a tricky thing to change once you are living in a property as it is always needed. Also if it had already got a bathroom suite I would felt the need to convince myself that it was good enough. As it was we had to have a brand new bathroom!

I love bathrooms that are fully tiled and I had lots of fun researching decorating ideas. We chose our tiles and our bathroom suite and the transformation was incredible! I wish I had taken some before and after photographs.

I still love my bathroom but there has always been one thing that bugged me about it. The blind. I used to buy cheap material blinds and within months of fitting them they would start to pull away from the fitting at the top and looked really shabby.

When I was contacted by Web-Blinds to ask if I would like to review one of their blinds I jumped at the chance! We had a wonderful time browsing their site and choosing which blind to get. We eventually decide on the Oak Apple Wood Venitian Blind.

New-Blind

The blind was custom made to our exact measurements which was great as, living in an old house, we struggle getting sizes to fit.

When it arrived my husband fitted it and he was very impressed. He kept saying, ‘This is great quality,’ and ‘This is the best blind that I have ever fitted!’

When the blind was in place it transformed my bathroom! I loved it! It was definitely what my bathroom had been waiting for!

Befor-After

In order to carry out this review fully I insisted that I must go for a lovely relaxing bath so that I could really appreciate the blind!

Relaxing-Bath

The blind has also made my less relaxing baths look a lot nicer too!

Bob-Bath

Sorry about the quality of the photographs. I was quickly taking them with my phone before either Bob splashed it or I dropped it.

Disclaimer – I was sent this blind free of charge for the purpose of this review but all opinions and photographs are my own (or my husband’s).
