This week has been quite sad but there is a big smile behind it all!

Wednesday was Bob’s last day at nursery! 🙁 I thought I wouldn’t cry until I saw Bob give her teacher the biggest hug when she was leaving. It even made the other parents cry!

It really is a wonderful nursery and I am sad that she is not going to go there anymore. I still can’t believe that she starts big girl’s school in September! Where has my baby gone?

She has had a wonderful time at nursery and I could not have asked for a better setting! On her last day the teachers gave me her Learning Journey. It is full of stories and photos of all of the adventures she has had at nursery.

There are too many wonderful things in it to share with you so I have just chosen some snippets to show you. Unfortunately I have had to miss out their nursery trips, the wonderful shows they put on and the fun days they had as the photos featured other children.

A-Wonderful-Nursery

Although I am sad that her time at nursery has come to an end I can’t stop smiling at all the fun she has had and the memories she has made!

*Another Smile*

I really wanted to go on holiday before baby number 2 arrived. We took Bob when she was 1 and had a nightmare so I knew if we didn’t go before we wouldn’t be going for years. I didn’t think there would be any chance of this. Times have been hard and my poor husband has been working ridiculous hours. He has been a stranger to us. I have been a 7 month pregnant single mum and Bob’s behaviour has been challenging. I think she may have thought that Daddy had left home.

Fortunately my husband’s hard work has paid off! He has been given a promotion and a bonus and been told to take his family on holiday. Well if they insist!

We have booked a very last minute holiday, I have been told I’m fit to fly and we go to Majorca on Monday. We can’t wait!

My blog will be quite for a week as we are going to make the most of this wonderful opportunity! There won’t be a new Share A Smile next week but I will leave this link open for 2 weeks in case you have more smiles to share. I will catch up on them all when we get back.

If you have written about something that made you smile or captured a photograph that melts your heart I would love it if you linked up below. Posts from your archives are welcome as long as they make you smile. 🙂

The linky will open on a Saturday and run for a week, so feel free to pop in at any time. I am happy to read happiness any day of the week.

If you don’t have a blog and you would like to join in you can share your smiles on social media. On twitter & Instagram use the hashtag #shareasmile and tag me in the post so that I don’t miss it. You could even share a smile in the comments section below or post one to my Facebook page if you prefer.

Looking forward to smiling with you. Smiles are contagious so it is better to share them than keep them to yourself!
