We have just returned from a relaxing week at Centre Parcs. We only live about 20 minutes from Sherwood Forest but when you are at Centre Parcs you could be anywhere. We don’t have the stress of travelling and if we forgot anything we could easily pop home to get it. Bob has had an amazing time! It is so cold! I know that I shouldn’t complain as we have had a mild winter but I’m freezing! I go to bed in pyjamas, a hoodie and a dressing gown and I regularly steal Bob’s Peppa Pig slanket. Bob hates keeping her covers on and kicks them off at the earliest opportunity. I wrap her up warm for bed as I am aware she does this but I still worry about her being cold. I would love to do exercise but I can never seem to be bothered. Might have something to do with the fact that Bob still doesn’t sleep through. I also struggle to get motivated. I enjoy classes as you have an instructor encouraging you to move but if I am left to my own devices I don’t tend to break a sweat. I have been saved on several occasions by my knight in shining armour. On this occasion I don’t mean my husband. In fact, my husband has also been saved by my knight in shining armour too. I am talking about the very, very nice man from the AA. He has rescued us when we were en route to my friends wedding. This month has been full of germs. The illnesses started before Christmas and have continued through most of January. Between us we have had tonsillitis, a chest infection, a sickness bug and many cough and colds. Luckily the month has ended on a high as we are at Centre Parcs! My blog might be a little quite for the next week as I am off on my travels. Tomorrow my friend and I are going to Devon for the weekend to visit our friend who recently moved there. I am looking forward to a lovely girly weekend and a big catch up with these two lovely ladies.
