Bob’s imagination never fails to make me smile! She loves role play and small world toys as when she is in these worlds anything can happen! There are no rules to a toddler’s imagination! If I was playing with Bob’s toys my adult brain might affect the choices I made. I might choose appropriate sized toys and act out stories as we know them. Bob is much more free when she plays! This may not seem like an ordinary moment but in our house it is! I have been meaning to join in this lovely linky for weeks and I have finally got around to it. Katie from Mummy Daddy Me came up with the idea of capturing the ordinary, everyday moments as these are the ones that we will want to remember.
Sunday 11th August (Day 17) We stayed close to home today and just went to our local park. We had a good day with no accidents but no poos. I thought that I would continue on from last week’s post for this week’s Fun Photo Fun. I mentioned that we found the giant dandelion when we were fruit picking so I thought I would share some photos from our harvest with you too. We had wanted to go strawberry picking but we were too late. There were many fruits waiting to be collected though, cherries raspberries, gooseberries, tayberries and worcesterberries. Thursday 8th August (Day 14) Today we went to a country park for the morning. When we arrived I got Bob to sit on her potty in the car. Nothing. After we’d been there for a while I took her to the toilet. Nothing. Then, when she was halfway across across the rope bridge she weed. Everywhere! Before Bob came along New Year’s was a party night. We have been to and hosted lots of lovely parties including a pyjama party. 🙂 Now we are responsible parents celebrating is not as easy. Several weeks ago whilst we were fruit picking with our friends I noticed a giant dandelion clock. I am not sure that it was a dandelion clock as it was different to any I have seen before but the children couldn’t resist trying to tell the time with it and I couldn’t miss a photo opportunity!
