When Bob and I were away with my sister and my nephew we visited the Wild Boar Park in Chipping.

Hay

It was less commercial than our local farm park and I loved this as it felt like we were getting a real glimpse of behind the scenes.

Lambs

We were also lucky that it was quite quiet so we got to spend some quality time with the animals. We all bottle fed a lamb and held a chick. My nephew had lots of chicks on his lap and they even trusted Bob with one. I hope the chick isn’t too scarred from the experience!

Chicks

They led a guided walk around the park which was lovely and we were introduced to many animals, including the wild boars. I thought they were very cute until about 4 months old, then they became a bit scary.

Boars

My sister and I didn’t choose the most appropriate footwear for our farm visit!

Shoes

There was a lovely playground for little ones and a larger one with zip wires for older children. There were go karts and tractor and trailer rides ran throughout the day.

Playground

We all had a wonderful day and I would love to visit again when we are next in the area.

My Fun Photo Favourite from last week was a fun filledpost from Mrs. D over at Mrs D Plus Three. She has discovered a fabulous app called A Beautiful Mess which I can’t wait to try. Mrs. D has lots of lovely photos in the post, here is an example of what you can do.

As a reward Mrs. D can come and do my housework as, when i start playing around with this app, I don’t think I’ll have time to do it. 😉 She can also display the Fun Photo Favourite badge if she wishes.

If you have been having fun with photography, editing or you’ve photographed something fun, please link up below. Make sure that you link up the post, rather than your home page as I struggle to find some of your posts when I am choosing a Fun Photo favourite. If you would like to grab my badge or add a text link it would be much appreciated. Also, if you would like to tweet me your links I would be happy to RT them. Don’t forget to choose your favourite using the like buttons beneath each image. This will help me to choose my Fun Photo Favourite.

*By taking part in this linky you are giving me permission to show your photo next week, if it is chosen as my Fun Photo Favourite. I will, of course, link back to your blog.

Ha, so nice to see that it’s not only me that wear completely inappropriate clothing for such muddy encounters. Growing up on a farm, you’d think I’d know better too 🙂
