I have been very organised with my Christmas shopping this year! Usually I am stressing and ordering things at the last minute but I am impressed with how ahead of things I am.

I have had some great ideas and I am really pleased with the presents that I have bought! The only person that I am struggling to buy for is my husband.

It is the same every year! When I ask him what he wants for Christmas and his birthday he can’t think of anything. When I asked this year all that he could think of were socks and pants. I am planning to buy him the craziest socks and pants that I can find but I know that if that was all that was under the tree on Christmas morning he would be disappointed.

I have had some great ideas in the past that I thought he would be really pleased with. He seems happy to receive them on Christmas morning but then they end up in the cupboard, never to be seen again.

Drunk-Husband

I usually buy him treats to eat and drink. As I said to my mother in law on his recent birthday, ‘If he can’t eat it or drink it he’s not interested.’ I don’t mind doing this but his presents each year are very similar. There is no surprise element as he expects to open a bottle of whiskey and a box of Ferrero Roche.

I have been looking online to find something a bit different and I stumbled across some lovely gifts from 31Dover. As well as selling regular alcohol gifts they also have products that are a bit different. I love the idea of their Scallywag Whiskey for Michael. It will be a bottle of whiskey that will make him happy but it is different and fun!

I am also going to buy him a bottle of Ralph Lauren Polo Black. This is more of a present for me than for him as I love the way it smells and he has run out.

Now I know what to buy for Michael I feel very organised! I really hope this continues! I still have lots of wrapping to do and I have the best intentions but the days are slowly slipping away. I hope I am not stressing and wrapping on Christmas Eve!

all my husband want’s is dvd and PS4 games and his list get’s longer the closer it gets to Christmas. My dad is so hard to buy for as when I ask him what he wants, he always says “don’t get me anything”, but this whisky sounds like a good idea

My husband is the exact same – so hard to buy for. I usually buy him gig tickets or things he can eat and drink and that keeps him happy.

Ralph Lauren is a great brand and a polo would be nice for both you and him. Love the whisky design too.

These both look fab – I don’t have a man to stress over this year – except my dad! Kaz x

Men are so hard to buy for aren’t they?! There are so many things you could buy me and I’d be happy but I struggle to think of things for my husband x

I find men so hard to buy for. It’s true they just get socks and pants hahaha. I love the extra pieces you’ve picked out, I may have to steal them myself 😉 x

Men are so difficult to buy for >.< I don't like buying people food and drink for Christmas because it doesn't last and usually isn't memorable 🙁 That bottle of Scallywag is unforgettable though!

My dad is always the easiest person ever to buy for, thankfully. He only ever wants vouchers for certain shops x

Great Christmas gift ideas here. I always struggle to get my hubby a gift.

Boyfriend is a continuous struggle when it comes to Christmas. All the ideas that I come up with he either has or no way can I afford it.

Men are always so hard to buy for, aren’t they?! Mine’s exactly the same. Luckily I know what to get him this year, as he’s asked for some books and dvds.
The eating and drinking present rule always a good one – when in doubt, beer and chocolate never disappoints! 😀

Hehe this whisky sounds great and how cute is the bottle!
I still need to decide what to get my husband for Christmas, he is so hard to buy for and I am starting to get stressed!

I’ve got one of those awkward husbands too. Buying for them is just a nightmare. Think I’ll be following in your footsteps

I usually find it really hard to find great presents for my husband – he always says there’s nothing special that he wants. That whiskey looks good fun though – love the label!

I wish I was as organised as you; I’ve done my Secret Santa so far and that’s it – yikes!

My dad’s the same he’s awkward to buy for, every time we’ve been shopping this week I’ve asked him what he wants for Xmas and he doesn’t know. I’m just gonna roll with some ideas I have. That Whiskey is such a cool gift, may have to look at some fun named ones for him to add to his collection.
