We have had many lovely days out this summer. From picnics at the park to adventure filled days in theme parks. I thought that I would share a few of our favourite days out with you in case you need any inspiration. We have spent several days at Wheelgate Adventure Park. Wheelgate isn’t far from our house and we had a season pass. This ran out last month and as we are moving we haven’t renewed it. We love Wheelgate! [click here to read on]
We have just returned from a camping trip to Devon with my lovely friend and her family. We had a wonderful time! The weather wasn’t the best and we were soggy some of the time but we didn’t let it spoil our fun! I didn’t take many photos as I was too busy having fun. Oh dear! Last weekend we had a wonderful time at CBeebies Land! Bob loves CBeebies and she looked forward to the day for a long time! When it finally arrived she was so excited! I was worried about going to Alton Towers on a Saturday. As Bob isn’t in nursery full time and my husband works Sunday to Thursday we tend to visit places on Friday in term time when it is quieter. We were lucky to spend a fun filled morning with the lovely people behind CBeebies magazine. They invited us to a morning of activities followed by an afternoon in CBeebies Land at Alton Towers, I will tell you all about that later, to celebrate the fact that they are giving away many kids go free vouchers to top UK attractions. As the summer holidays are in full swing, I thought that I would share a little video with you that I captured last year. Bob loves the beach and she would happily spend hours there. Since our holiday abroad when Bob was a baby we have preferred to go on family holidays in this country as it is much less stressful! Luckily there are many beautiful places in the U.K. Parkdean think that the U.K. has so much to offer in terms of beautiful landscapes, sandy beaches and wildlife that they put together a little quiz to see if people could tell which photographs were home and which were away.
