I was quite lucky during my pregnancy. (That’s if you ignore the fact that I was treated for preterm labour, hospitalised with keytones and pumped full of saline solution.)

I worried about the silly little things during pregnancy but I was lucky to escape most of them. I was petrified of my tummy button popping out! I thought that it would explode all of a sudden! Luckily mine remained an innie. I also managed to avoid the linea nigra, the hairy tummy and I only got 2 small stretch marks which appeared on the day that I was induced.

One thing that I didn’t manage to avoid was the mask of pregnancy. One sunny day near the end of my pregnancy my mask appeared. I read that it should go away by the time your child is 2. Mine is still there! I hate it! I spend 5 minutes in the sun and it is so noticeable.

When I was asked if I would like to hold a giveaway to promote Bio-Oil’s new Bump Tracker Pregnancy App I thought it would be suitable for my blog as I bet many of my readers have stretch marks. (They should really be called stripes of honour!)

The Bump Tracker allows you to take photos throughout your pregnancy and it makes them into a lovely little video. This reminded me of the wonderful video, made by Tom from McFly and his wife, to announce the birth of their son Buzz. It is so beautiful!

I thought I would try Bio-Oil on my stretch marks as I didn’t realise that it could be used to reduce pigmentation. When I read this I got very excited! Maybe my mask of pregnancy isn’t here to stay after all!

I thought it may feel greasy on my skin and I was unsure about applying it before my make up but it doesn’t feel greasy at all! I have to use it twice a day for a minimum of 3 months. If Bio Oil manages to get rid of my mask of pregnancy I will be eternally grateful!

I have a bottle of Bio Oi to giveaway to 3 of my lovely readers. There are many ways to enter using the Rafflecopter below. Good luck!
