When I tell you the name of the programme that I am going to share with you this week, you will automatically think of marshmallows! Sorry, I haven’t got any of those to share. What I am going to show you is much better!
This week I am going to remind you of/introduce you to a little furry family who live somewhere up north (judging by their accents). They were first shown in 1976 and, unfortunately, there was only 13 episodes made. They were a lovely little family. Mother and Father, the children Perkin, Posie and Pootle and their dear old Grandfather, who played a Flumpet!
If you haven’t guessed by now, you never will. I am talking about The Flumps!!!
I will leave you with the first episode and a quiz question. Which advert used The Flumps theme tune? No googling!

I love the Flumps! If you have any fond rememberings of Button Moon (which I did) please don’t watch it as an adult, its horribly disappointing
Oh no! That was on my list! Might have to avoid it. :o)
Firstly, violins please, I didn’t have a tv as a child so missed out on A LOT of classics. This, however, I remember and other people my age don’t! I used to see it at my NanNan and Granddad’s house. I loved it!! Thanks for sharing! x x
Lots of people don’ remember it! Sorry you missed out. Bet you had more fun in other ways because of it. Maybe this will catch you up on what you missed. X
[…] was surprised when I found out that this (like last weeks featured classic) only ran for one series and that they only made 13 episodes. Feels like I watched it for years. […]
