Guest Post - Hair Care For Babies And Toddlers

Looking after your child’s hair is just like looking after any other part of their body and hair needs attention and proper nurture to keep your child’s scalp lovely and healthy. Luckily, hair care for babies and toddlers is fairly straight-forward and common sense as long as you keep a few golden rules in mind. For babies: We are still not entirely sure why some babies are born with a lot of hair and some are born with hardly [click here to read on]

Guest Post - Getting Your Kids Into Healthy Drinks

Keeping kids hydrated is just as important as making sure they eat a balanced diet, but when kids are inundated with advertising for high sugar drinks all presented in enticing packaging it can be hard to persuade them to have healthy alternatives like plain water or healthy drinks. One effective way to encourage good hydration habits is to offer your child flavoured waters or low-sugar cordials. Cordial is a fantastic way to give a standard glass of water a bit [click here to read on]

Post-Childbirth Incontinence - Guest Post

Did you hear the one about the woman with incontinence who just went with the flow? OK, not a very funny joke, but with some issues it does help to break the ice a little bit first. After all, incontinence is not exactly the sort of subject you’ll natter about with your friends in Costa’s. Planning Our Family Holidays

However, those extra pounds we put on every December could take longer to shift than we realised. Research has shown that that extra helping of Christmas pud could take a [click here to read on]

All He Wants For Christmas...

I never know what to buy my husband for Christmas. His birthday is at the end of November so every year, around this time, I ask him if there is anything that he would like for his birthday or for Christmas. The answer is always the same, ‘Just get me a bottle of Whisky.’ When I point out that he has a cupboard full of various whiskies (previous birthday and Christmas gifts) he says that you can never have too [click here to read on]

Sorry my blog has been quiet lately. I have been recovering from a car accident. I thought about blogging about the accident but it is still a bit too raw! Let’s just say that we were extremely lucky and the paramedics didn’t believe that we had rolled the car as we were stood on the road when they arrived. I was glad when the vehicle recovery yard confirmed this as I thought that I was cracking up! We also found [click here to read on]
