Driving Again!

It may have taken me 2 years but I have finally got my confidence back when it comes to driving. I drove halfway to Devon the other day and feel as if I could drive anywhere as long as I have Siri telling me which way to go. After the accident I never thought I would be comfortable behind the wheel again. I panicked as there was nothing I could have done to prevent it. If I had been speeding [click here to read on]

Healthy, Healthy, Healthy.

I have always known that I wasn’t very healthy. I try to eat plenty of fruit and veg, but some days the closest I get is a Haribo strawberry. Being unsettled and ‘between homes’ has made healthy eating difficult, but I make sure I force-feed my family a veg-filled stir fry once a week to try and make up for our naughtiness. It gets to a point where I crave vegetables and then I realise we have had too many [click here to read on]

After a crazy few days all of our furniture is in place and most of the boxes are unpacked! There is the small problem of where I am going to put all of my shoes but I am planning a big shrine somewhere. I just have to convince my husband. Our new house is lovely! It has many more stairs than we are used to but it will save me having to find a gym. Bob loves it! She has [click here to read on]

...And We're Off!

Moving day has arrived! I am excited but I am also worried about how long it will take us to unpack. If how long it took to pack is anything to go by I will be unpacking until next year. We have had some wonderful memories in our current house and we are looking forward to the happy times to come in our new home. We won’t have broadband in the new house until the 6th of October but I [click here to read on]

Caravan Capers

We love going away in our caravan! We have had so many lovely holidays in it and Bob really enjoys them! I am still wary of going abroad with Bob after our initial disaster. I know she is older now and would probably be fine but I see abroad holidays as relaxing and there is no way they would be that now! When you have children things are more relaxing when they are entertained. You may not be lying around [click here to read on]

The Cost Of Living

The cost of living seems so expensive at the minute! Our weekly shop can cost us a fortune and just nipping to the supermarket for a few bits can add up to £40! Natwest have developed a Child Cost Calculator which is handy if you are planning to start a family and you want to see how much you can expect to spend. After realising how expensive having a child can be I put Bob to work. 😉 My friend [click here to read on]
